A fruit seller dresses up as famous cartoon character Minnie Mouse to attract customers at a traffic light junction in Bandar Baru Bangi, hoping for motorists to make a purchase.

However, despite the seller’s enthusiasm, street peddling is illegal and seen as highly risky. Offenders could face fines of up to RM2,000 under Rule 10A(1) of the Road Traffic Rules 1959. – June 24, 2024
