KUALA LUMPUR – The Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) will summon 14 additional individuals to record their statements in connection with an investigation into acts of sabotage affecting national stability, which reportedly involve influential figures and foreign media.

Inspector-General of Police Datuk Seri Mohd Khalid Ismail confirmed that the full list of individuals has now been finalised.

“So far, a total of 14 individuals have had their statements recorded, and police are currently reviewing these while continuing further investigations,” he said during a press conference at Bukit Aman police headquarters today.

“We are still studying and conducting other investigations and we may take the statements of several more individuals and from there we will conclude and we will submit to the Attorney General (AG). I understand that there are 14 more people whose statements we will take and God willing, if everything is completed, we will send them to the AG,” he added.

When asked whether Toh Puan Nai’mah Khalid is included in the list, Datuk Seri Mohd Khalid declined to provide confirmation.

“I do not want to detail any individuals. The investigation is still ongoing, let us do it and when it is finished, we will call for investigation,” he said.

In a separate development, the IGP revealed that police have launched an inquiry into international news portal Bloomberg over an article concerning Tan Sri Azam Baki’s share ownership and allegations of corporate manipulation.

“The investigation team has already visited the portal’s office at Petronas Towers to meet with several staff for initial documentation purposes,” he said.

He added that the main individuals directly linked to the article are based abroad. “For further action we will work through G2G (government-to-government) or agency-to-agency to obtain cooperation from the relevant parties,” he said. – March 19, 2026
